Organised by: Miguel Sanches

[EN] Tools for your Longevity: Science now shows that diet directly influences brain function. In this session, Maria translates that evidence onto your plate. You will leave understanding which dietary patterns are linked to slower cognitive decline and better neurological health, and the reasons why. You will understand the outcomes supported by growing nutritional research, particularly for long-term cognitive health, and emerging evidence for mental clarity, focus and stress resilience in daily life. Maria then steps into the kitchen to show you what this science looks like in practice and how to adapt these principles to real, everyday cooking. Recipes from the demonstration will be shared with all participants afterwards.

That’s wonderful to know @John. Regarding fermented foods, you should be able to find chucrute in Celeiro (in store or online) or in Naturitas (online). Kimchi is a great alternative, too!

A wonderful scientific and artistic approach to food cooking and preparation for healthy ‘Gut’ diet to benefit all aspects of health. I have now made both recipes and my wife and I enjoyed both. Although Sourkroute I can’t find in Cascais… Had to use Kimchi… :-)
